Returns, Refunds, and Cancellation Policy

This Returns, Refunds, and Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) constitutes a legally binding agreement between the purchaser or user of services (“Client”, “You”, or “Your”) and The Startup Evangelist (“We”, “Us”, or “Our”) with respect to the acquisition, use, or scheduling of services, including but not limited to online courses, certifications, digital products, and speaking engagements (collectively, the “Services”).

By purchasing, accessing, or engaging with any Services through www.thestartupevangelist.com (“Website”), You expressly acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms set forth herein.

1. Scope of Policy

This Policy governs the terms and conditions under which The Startup Evangelist will provide refunds, returns, or cancellations related to:

  • Online courses and educational programs
  • Certifications
  • Downloadable digital content or toolkits
  • Live or virtual speaking engagements

2. Digital Products, Courses, and Certifications

2.1 Non-Refundable Nature of Digital Goods

All purchases of courses, certifications, and downloadable content are considered final and non-refundable once any portion of the content has been accessed, streamed, downloaded, or otherwise utilized.

2.2 Limited Refund Eligibility

A refund may be granted only if:

  • A written request is submitted by the Client within seven (7) calendar days of the date of purchase; and
  • The course or product has not been accessed, streamed, or downloaded.

If eligible, refunds will be processed within ten (10) business days of approval via the original payment method.

2.3 Procedure for Refund Requests

Submit your request to support@thestartupevangelist.com with the following:

  • Full legal name
  • Order confirmation number
  • Date of purchase
  • Justification for refund

3. Speaking Engagements (In-Person or Virtual)

3.1 Engagement Definition

“Speaking Engagements” refer to any live presentation, keynote, workshop, or seminar—whether virtual or in-person—delivered by or on behalf of The Startup Evangelist.

3.2 Client-Initiated Cancellation

For cancellations initiated by the Client:

  • More than 30 days before the event: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee.
  • 15–30 days before the event: 50% refund.
  • Less than 15 days: No refund.

3.3 Rescheduling Policy

One rescheduling is permitted without penalty if requested at least 15 calendar days in advance. Late requests may incur additional fees and are subject to availability.

3.4 Provider-Initiated Cancellation

If The Startup Evangelist cancels the engagement, the Client will receive:

  • A full refund; or
  • A rescheduled date, subject to mutual agreement.

4. Force Majeure

Neither Party shall be held liable for delays or non-performance caused by circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, acts of war, or government restrictions.

5. Dispute Resolution

This Policy shall be governed by the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction]. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution clause set forth in Our Terms of Service.

6. Entire Agreement and Amendments

This Policy constitutes the entire agreement regarding refunds and cancellations. We reserve the right to amend this Policy at any time. Continued use of Our Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
